Rates For services performed during normal business hours our standard rate is $100.00 per hour, billed in increments of 15 minutes. For services performed onsite at your location there is a 1-hour minimum. TekBasics does not provide free coaching and support services. Travel fee Travel time to and from your location includes 30 complimentary minutes. Travel beyond 30 minutes is charged at $60.00 per hour, billed in five minute increments. Support in our office There is no travel fee or minimum charge for services performed at our office. Business hours Our normal business hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (except holidays). Phone calls received during these hours will be returned as soon as possible. Calls after business hours will usually be returned the next business day. Special arrangements can be made for Saturday and evening appointments. Payment Payment is expected upon completion of service. Checks should be made payable to TekBasics. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Paypal. A receipt detailing the services performed will be mailed shortly after we return to our office. Cancellations In the event it is necessary to cancel a previously scheduled appointment please provide as much notice as possible. Cancellations within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment will be billed a rescheduling fee of $50.00. If the appointment is cancelled while we are already enroute to your location, it will be necessary to bill the 1-hour minimum, plus the travel fee. We will try to reschedule your appointment as soon as possible. Support via email and phone If possible we can attempt to provide our services without coming to your location. Support phone calls are billed in increments of 15 minutes (no minimum or travel fee is charged). Support questions received via email will be answered via phone, so be sure to include your phone number and the best time to call. Remote support Sometimes it is possible for us to utilize screen-sharing technology for us to provide support. Screen-sharing permits us to see your Mac’s screen and operate your Mac from our office so that travel to your location is not required. This technology is of course more economical than an onsite visit at your location, but we will use our discretion to determine whether your issue can be solved remotely. Our guarantee Our expertise is guaranteed. If you’re not satisfied during the first hour you won’t be charged.
